Howard is finally better from his back

 He will not be ready for London 2012

 The surgery was a success

Dwight Howard is the number one player of the Orlando Magic team, who was recently operated, because he had a dislocated hernia and needed a back surgery.  Howard was operated in a hospital inLos Angelesand the doctors say that he is now doing fine and will be recuperating soon. 

 

According to Craig Mintzer, even though the 26 year old player will be ready to play in the professional courts again in about four months, he also said that he will most likely not be ready to play in London 2012, which is almost here.  These are certainly bad new for the American basketball team, which will be participating inLondonand for the Orlando Magic as well.

 

Mitzer also stated that Howard says he is sad about missing the rest of the NBA season with the Orlando Magic team and that he is also sad about not being able to play in the London 2012 Olympic Games, but that he is extremely happy that the surgery went well and that he will be able to play again in a few months.  The doctors and Mintzer also said that the surgery was perfect and that Howard should have no problems returning to play in a few months. 

 

Howard has been named best defensive player in the NBA and he is also one of the best scorers for the Orlando Magic team.  Howard was not able to play six of the last games, before being sent to surgery this last Friday.  This is certainly bad news for some people. But at least Howard is in good shape and will be able to play next season perfectly.
